What other knitters have said
“Absolutely love this pattern! A quick very intuitive knit and a great shape. So interesting and versatile with all the border options. I just knit until I figured I had enough left for the last 2 finish rows. Used almost the entire skein of yarn that way!”
“I really liked this shawl pattern. I especially loved the lace, and found it very well-written and easy to follow. It’s a great shape for a shawl, and good combo of stockinette and lace (plus there are a couple different variations offered). . . . I will definitely knit this again”
“Vanessa Smith’s designs are striking in their simplicity, yielding sophisticated and easy to wear shawls. The mixture of stockinette and lace makes a soft yet memorable graphic statement. I prefer crescent or half-circle shawls as they are easier to wear and enable the wearer to “settle into” the shawl.”
“Absolutely love the shawl and love the yarn. I’m not a big shawl wearer and have somewhat of a phobia against wearing very lacey shawls (so they are all gifted to more deserving recipients). This shawl, however, is all mine!”
“This is a relatively quick knit with a lot of bang for your buck. I’m getting three similar yet distinct gifts from one pattern. I used the charts more than the written instructions, but found the written parts of the pattern to me a useful reference—good money well spent.”
